TEAM Toys 4 Kids

TEAM Inc. has been operating the holiday toy drive program over 20 years. The program collects new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the Lower Naugatuck Valley community. The success of the program relies on volunteer support and community involvement. Each year with the help of the community we supply toys to over a 1,000 children, this could not be done without the help of the volunteers, collection sites and the generous contributions we receive.

Toys are dropped off at designated “TEAM Toys 4 Kids Drop Collection Sites” throughout the Valley community. At these sites, boxes are made available from Thanksgiving week until approximately one week before December 25th. The toys are transported to a “Toy Workshop” where volunteers sort and classify toys by price, age and gender in preparation for parents who shop for their children. The families are provided with “Toy Bucks” to choose 4 to 5 toys for each child.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Resident of Ansonia, Derby, Seymour, Shelton, Beacon Falls, Bethany and Oxford
• Children 12 years old and younger
• Income does not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline

Registration Requirements:

• Proof of residency (rent receipt, utility bills)
• Current proof of income
• Birth Certificate
