Employment Opportunities

• Head Teacher – Early Education Program
  Hours: Full Time
  Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and two years experience in a pre-school classroom.

• Assistant Teachers – Early Education Program
  Hours: Full Time
  Qualifications: Minimum of a CDA and 12 credits in Early Childhood Education or able to complete requirement within a year. An Associate’s Degree Preferred.

• Homemaker
  Hours: Part Time
  Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to work with elderly population.

• Substitute Teachers
  Hours: Part-time, on-call
  Qualifications: Ability to work with pre-school children. Training provided.

• Director of Family Support Services
  Hours: Full time to oversee the administration of all Community Service programs
  Qualifications: BA/BS in Human Services or relevant field and 5+years experience managing social programs; or an Associate’s degree with 10+ years experience with increasing responsibility.

• Valley Family Resource Center Manager
  Hours: Part Time, must be willing to work flexible schedule and travel throughout the Valley
  Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and 3+ years relevant experience including proven leadership working with communities, schools and families.

• Early Head Start Home Visitors
  Hours: Full Time
  Qualifications: Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Services or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred) with 2+ years relevant experience. Ability to work with diverse population including low income, bilingual a plus.

Current volunteer opportunities at our agency are:

• VITA Income Tax Preparers
• Meals on Wheels Back Up Driver
• Toys for Tots Coordinator
• Toys for Tots Toys Store Volunteers- Sort, code and distribute toys at Valley Toys for Tots Warehouse
